Though Christine Quinn, the current Speaker of the New York City Council and frontrunner in the upcoming mayoral election, was the focus of a lengthy new profile article, two colorful remarks made by current-Mayor Michael Bloomberg ended up showing a new side of the politician.
The author of the article, published Sunday in New York Magazine, said that when he and a friend were introducing themselves to Mr Bloomberg, he ignored them and focused solely on the derriere of another guest.
‘My friend thanked him for his position on gun control. Without even acknowledging the comment, Bloomberg gestured toward a woman in a very tight floor-length gown standing nearby and said, “Look at the ass on her,”’ writes Jonathan van Meter.
